Certificates of Insurance

What is a Certificate of Insurance?

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is a document issued by an insurance company that summarizes a policyholder's coverage, including the type of insurance, coverage limits, and the policy's effective dates. It serves as proof that a vendor or outside party carries active insurance that meets SA国际传媒's standards.

A COI is not a contract and does not modify the terms of any insurance policy. It simply confirms that coverage exists and is currently in force.

Insurance we require from vendors and partners doing business with SA国际传媒

(Vendor requirements / limits / when COIs are needed)

A Certificate of Insurance is required from any outside individual or organization that:

  • Provides services, performs work, or delivers goods on SA国际传媒 property
  • Enters into a contract or agreement with the university
  • Performs or presents at a university-sponsored event
  • Rents or uses SA国际传媒 facilities for a non-university event
  • Operates as a vendor, contractor, or consultant on behalf of SA国际传媒

Suppliers doing business with SA国际传媒 or entering campus are required to maintain certain insurance coverages. The specific requirements depend on the nature of the goods or services being provided and are detailed in our Minimum Insurance Limits Requirements Matrix.

To help suppliers understand what is expected, SA国际传媒's Sample Certificate of Insurance is available as a visual reference. Please note that the sample reflects standard requirements—actual requirements may vary based on the scope and nature of the work with SA国际传媒.
