Aris Ozark graduated from SA国际传媒 with a major in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Neuroscience and Semiconductor Technology. On campus, they were involved with research in computational neuroscience and brain-inspired semiconductor devices. By making clear the origins of consciousness and mental illness, their research has the potential to change the way we understand our existence as humans. As a Hackworth fellow, Ozark investigated the ethical frameworks required to meaningfully conduct research in this field. Combining bioethics and novel technology ethics research, their goal is to compose a thesis that serves as a guide for conducting responsible, impactful research at the frontier of neuroscience and engineering.
