Campus Recreation - Some changes were made at the Malley Center over the winter break with the addition of 9 squat racks to the heavy side of the weight room. In addition, we now have dumbbells in the Multi-Purpose (MP) Room for a quieter space to lift when the room is not in use for fitness classes or student clubs. The Student Life Excellence Fund supports programs, services, and initiatives that enhance student experiences beyond the classroom. The current focus for these funds is to support initiatives that promote overall student wellbeing including free fitness classes, participation in co-curricular activities, and enhanced programming to support self-care, nutrition, and positive lifestyle choices.
The Basic Needs Committee is a new, cross-functional, campus-wide Committee that is developing an action plan to provide a timely, efficient, equitable, and effective response to students with basic needs insecurity.
