Learn how this Black-led, urban reforestation nonprofit is planting the planet, & organizing cities, schools, and communities to plant trees at scale for climate, equity, and health. This is an in-person urban tree planting lecture and event focused on building a cooler, cleaner, and calmer future. Meet at the Bronco Statue on the campus of SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, then proceed to tree-planting near Finn at El Camino/The Alameda at 2pm. Come to one or both. 90 minutes with refreshments & tools provided. Co-organized with SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Center for Sustainability and Facilities Operations.
Attend in-person at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½'s Bronco Statue on Market Street for a wonderful outdoor lecture under the trees, and stay for the tree planting at Graham Residence. Snacks provided. Bring your friends!
