The SA国际传媒 chapter of the American Association of University Professors has worked to improve shared governance and the conditions of faculty employment at the University for several decades. Its members were instrumental in securing SA国际传媒 the first-ever Ralph S. Brown Award for Shared Governance, given by the AAUP in 1998.1
