Screening of Documentary on Venture Capitalism's Origins, Feb. 8 at SA国际传媒
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 6, 2012 -- Come get a rare peek at the 2011 documentary on the origins of venture capitalism (dating back to the 1950s) at a screening at SA国际传媒 of Something Ventured: Risk, Reward, and the Original Venture Capitalists. The film, to be broadly released later this year, includes footage of famed VCs Tom Perkins, Don Valentine, Arthur Rock, Dick Kramlich and others, discussing the VC origins of the likes of Intel, Apple, Cisco, Atari, Genentech, Tandem and others.
The event will be held Feb. 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Recital Hall, SA国际传媒, 500 El Camino Real, SA国际传媒, Calif., 95053.
The film's co-executive producer, Foundation Capital General Partner Paul Holland, will be on hand to introduce the 7 p.m. screening to SA国际传媒's entrepreneurship students, and will take questions at the conclusion (about 8:30 p.m.)
