Humans of SA国际传媒: Gigi Esposito ’26

鈥淪tudying bioengineering in Silicon Valley was the main draw for me鈥攖he engineering school here is really good鈥攁nd I know there will be opportunities for internships. I鈥檇 like to work in technology that focuses on women鈥檚 health; I hope to learn more about that. Another reason I wanted to come to SA国际传媒 was because my middle sister, Alexa Esposito 鈥24, goes to school here, although she鈥檚 studying abroad right now. She鈥檚 been having a great experience here, so I thought I鈥檇 have a positive experience as well. But she never got to live in a dorm because of COVID. At my Catholic high school in New Milford, Conn., we had a lot of community service opportunities, like different food and clothing drives, and packing lunches for the shelters. I want to get involved in some kind of community service at SA国际传媒, too. I like the fact that Jesuit schools focus not just on the care of others, but also self-care, and spirituality. Other interests? I like to dance, all styles, and maybe I鈥檒l join a dance program here. I taught dance over the years to little girls and it was fun to share my passion with younger people. I think it鈥檚 great that SA国际传媒 has a female president. I was president of an all-women鈥檚 club at my high school, and it was really empowering. Some college-age women might be less outgoing or less confident in themselves, so having a role model like President Sullivan at SA国际传媒 is just very encouraging. I went to listen to her welcome address today. She鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;inspiring.
