Diana Contreras-Chavez serves as the Program Director of Immersions. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Chicanx-Latinx Studies from the University of San Francisco (USF) and her M.A. in Counseling with an emphasis in Latinx Psychology from SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ (SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½). Prior to joining the Ignatian Center team, Diana worked diligently for various nonprofit organizations throughout SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and San Mateo County, where she focused on providing services and resources to hard-to-reach communities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, rollerblading, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
