SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½

Kelly Detweiler, Professor of Art and Art History was awarded a commendation by the Triton Museum and the City of SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ as an educator and as an advocate for the Arts in SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. The Triton Museum of Art celebrated their 60th Diamond Anniversary year with three Triton Honorees who have made significant contributions to the arts in SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. Kelly is one of three Honoree for "education" as an artist and educator.

Kelly Detweiler has taught thousands of students at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ over his 43 year career as a Professor of Art and guided many into successful careers in the arts. He has worked to bring diverse communities in our region and internationally together by advocating for, planning and facilitating international exhibitions and exchanges with artists of various countries including Japan, Korea and others at the Triton Museum of Art and other Museums and galleries. He has well represented the City of SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ in his many artistic forays into museums and galleries throughout the country and abroad.
