SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½

The Accounting Department, CARE, and the Accounting Alumni Board hosted the Accounting Alumni Social for all declared Accounting/A&IS students at Adobe Lodge, SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Campus on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm.  The event was well supported with SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Accounting Association Officers to check in students and hand out commemorative glasses and the green visor to graduating seniors.

In addition, students enjoyed the company of several faculty, including Siqi Li, Yongtae Kim, Matthew Cedergren, Michael Calegari, Colin Koutney, and Chris Paisley, as well as three SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ alumni. About 78 students RSVP’d to attend, and close to 60 students attended over the course of two hours. Those in attendance enjoyed a signature Strawberry Mojito cocktail/mocktail selected by the senior officers and Italian, Latin and Asian appetizer stations. Department Chair Siqi Li shared words of wisdom with the students, reminding graduating students that this is not the end, but the beginning, of their journey.  The alumni in attendance, Bristin Parks ‘13, Noah Chak ‘24, and Jonathan Tay ’16, agreed with her perspective, sharing their experiences with the group, and collectively agreeing on how their SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ education positively impacted their post-graduation opportunities. 

The graduating SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Accounting Association officers were also thanked for their tireless support of the Accounting Program.  Professor Matthew Cedergren, the SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½AA Faculty Advisor, honoring the following officers with green cords:
