Business Ethics Interns

Meet the current team of business ethics interns! Enthusiastic and accomplished students are first screened for knowledge and interest in ethical decision making and hired for internship workplace opportunities where they can experience such issues in action. These placements are made possible through collaboration between prominent Silicon Valley companies and the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.

The Business Ethics Internship Program is proud to have these early-career professionals represent the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics and SA国际传媒.

For more information about the program contact Johana Engstrom.

2026-27 Business Ethics Interns

Ayden Eways Hackworth

Ayden Eways ’27

Ayden is a fourth-year Political Science and Music major at SA国际传媒. Ayden is interested in Business Ethics because of a deep commitment to justice, accountability, and the role that institutions play in shaping equitable societies. Through academic coursework and hands-on experience, Ayden has explored how ethical frameworks can be applied to real-world issues such as corporate accountability, labor rights, and global inequality.

At SA国际传媒, Ayden is actively involved in student leadership and advocacy, serving in multiple campus organizations and using their platform to raise awareness about social justice issues across global communities. Ayden’s work often centers on amplifying marginalized voices and pushing for systemic change, both on and off campus.

In addition to her academic and advocacy work, Ayden is a passionate musician and songwriter who has written numerous original songs that reflect personal experiences and global issues. Looking ahead, Ayden plans to pursue a career in law, with a focus on ethics and compliance, aiming to hold corporations accountable for exploitation and human rights violations.
