Students will turn simple cell processes into fun short stories. Working in small groups, they choose a basic biological pathway, like mitosis, photosynthesis, membrane diffusion, or anything they can think of, and transform it into a mind map or short narrative. The goal is to show how cells can behave in ways that are simpler than we often think. No prior science knowledge is needed!

Join us for our next Bronco Tank, where you’ll learn about what makes a successful startup idea, the strategy behind a convincing pitch, and get to try it out yourself! Ever wonder how engineers turn simple materials into strong structures? In this hands-on challenge, students will work in teams to design and build the tallest freestanding structure using spaghetti, tape, string and a marshmallow. The activity introduces basic but integral engineering concepts like planning, teamwork and design improvement.
